 The Hammer Coral is an LPS, or Large Polyp Stony Coral, with a hard exterior that has a stony surface. It is important to pay attention to the pH level 8.1-8.4, the direction and strength of the water flow can force the flesh off the skeleton, the lighting moderate to low, and the chemical elements in the water. Hammer Corals do pack a sting and should be placed carefully around other inhabitants.

 It is easy to take care of the Chalice, making it the ideal coral for beginners and experienced hobbyists alike.  It is vital to place your Chalice Coral at least 3 inches away from its tank mates, including other Chalice corals, to keep it from stinging them with its sweeper tentacles.   

You also want to keep the lighting consistent because a dramatic change can lead to stress. It is recommended to use a lighting range of 80 to 100 PAR .  A low to moderate water flow. 

 Alkalinity is an important factor to the health of your torch coral.  Calcium is equally important for growth because it is an essential component for your coral to maintain a healthy skeleton.  A PAR range between 80 and 150 is recommended, however, some torch corals like the Aussie Gold prefer a higher PAR range (150-250).    A moderate flow is enough to provide this service without damaging their polyps and surrounding tissues. Water flow that is too strong can tear their long polyps from their skeleton, and in worse cases, it can kill them.   

 They need a moderate water flow. If the water flow is too intense, the polyps will either retract or get damaged. If the water flow in your tank isn’t strong enough, the Frogspawn Coral will not get enough oxygen. A lack of oxygen can lead to stunted growth or even the death of your Frogspawn Coral. Lighting is also an essential parameter for Frogspawn Coral. If the Frogspawn Coral gets too much light, it will likely bleach, which isn’t healthy for the coral. On the other hand, too little light is also dangerous for the Frogspawn Coral; they will starve if they don’t get enough light. 

 Zoanthids are known for their fast growth rate, making them a popular choice for reef aquariums.  Zoanthids require moderate to high lighting to grow properly. They can tolerate a wide range of lighting conditions  Zoanthids should be placed in an area of the aquarium where they can receive adequate light and water flow. They can be placed on rocks or substrate, but they should not be placed too close to other corals.  Zoanthids are relatively hardy corals.

 Aquarium lighting is a crucial part of coral survival.  The majority of mushrooms thrive in low lighting levels with a par between 50 and 150 however, some mushrooms like ricordea require more intense lighting, however, some mushrooms like Ricordea require more intense lighting.  If your lighting is too low, your mushroom will start losing its beautiful coloration and its shape will change.  Just like lighting, your mushroom corals are not too fussy when it comes to water flow.  Ideal conditions for mushroom corals are low to moderate, indirect water flow.
